Our Mission

The purpose of our organization is to provide sock monkeys or other stuffed animals to kids facing extended stays in hospitals, and to give them a caring new friend that will always be there to help them as they recover.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We currently have two types of monkey donation programs

Regional Monkey Program donations are given to:

All hospital donations should be new purchases with all tags still attached. 

Monkeys Abroad Program donations are currently given to:

These homemade monkeys are given a chance to help children recovering from open heart surgery in countries such as Iraq and Mongolia.

The Donate a Monkey organization was founded in May 2012 and is the creation of a very ambitious young lady who continues to amaze us with her love, desire, and commitment to helping others in need. She hopes someday to expand her giving to include more children in other areas of need.

Donate a Monkey is an officially registered non-profit organization with the State of Texas, Secretary of State as well as registered with the Internal Revenue Service.
